Director | Principal Civil Engineer
Rudd is the Director and Principal Civil Engineer at ARO Industries. He has a wealth of experience, specialising in various aspects of planning and designing Civil infrastructure projects, with key experience in the delivery of major infrastructure for remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, subdivisions, and project management for remote municipal Councils.
Tracy Stanesby
Office Manager | Project Manager
Tracy is a Project Manager and ARO’s Office Manager with more than 15 years of experience within the civil engineering industry. Tracy oversees the project management of several projects, with experience ranging from geotechnical failures and mitigation to civil infrastructure projects.
Tracy has extensive experience with contract administration associated with numerous civil infrastructure projects, as well as residential and industrial land developments throughout North Queensland and the Torres Strait.
Michelle Stevenson
Finance Manager | Senior Civil Designer
Michelle is a Senior Civil Designer and ARO’s Finance Manager with more than 20 years of experience in the design and documentation of Civil Engineering projects across the North Queensland region.
Her project experience includes residential, commercial and industrial allotments and working with developers and consultants on the Civil works associated with group title and resort developments.
Kelda Ryan
Senior Geotechnical Engineer
Kelda is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer with over fourteen years of experience in consulting engineering. During this time, she has been involved in the analysis and reporting of small to large projects, including assessment and design of shallow/deep foundations; slope stability analysis; cut and fill operations; parameter development; site characterisation and detailed design reporting.
She has also managed and directed a team of engineers for fieldwork and reporting phases of sizeable multi-million dollar LNG-related projects for Australian and Canadian operations.
Andrew Armstrong
Senior Civil Engineer
Andrew is a Senior Civil Engineer at ARO Industries with 13 years of experience working with the State and local Governments, and in the Private Sector. He has a broad experience in the design and documentation of civil engineering projects, including commercial, industrial and residential land developments, major roads and bridges.
Andrew also has extensive experience in delivering major infrastructure projects and remote area infrastructure delivery programs.
Shaun Booth
Senior Civil Engineer
Shaun is a Senior Civil Engineer with ARO Industries. He is involved in various projects, including urban development, civil engineering of stormwater drainage, water supply and sewerage systems. Shaun has extensive experience in geotechnical engineering design, including pile and micropile design, slope and stability projects.
Jordan Curtin
Undergraduate Civil Engineer
Jordan is an Undergraduate Engineer with ARO Industries and provides civil engineering support on several major grant-funded projects throughout North Queensland, assisting the senior engineering team with the delivery of civil infrastructure projects.

Susie is a Consultant at ARO Industries. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her consulting engagements. Susie’s strategic mindset and analytical skills enable her to assess complex situations, identify opportunities, and develop innovative strategies. She combines her strong research capabilities with data-driven insights to provide clients with valuable recommendations and actionable plans.

Morgan is an Administration Officer at ARO Industries with six years of experience. Morgan is a vital member of the ARO Industries team, providing procurement and contract administration support while ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day office operations.
