Palmerston Highway Flood Recovery

Following Cyclone Jasper and the 1-in-100-year flood event at the end of 2023, ARO was engaged by the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) to carry out urgent geotechnical remediation advice for repairs on the Palmerston Range, which had suffered significant geotechnical failures due to the flooding.
